Gcash to Paypal is a way to transfer money from Gcash account to the famous virtual wallet Paypal. Paypal is an international wallet. A user can send and receive money in any currency from several countries worldwide. On the other hand, Gcash is only available in the Philippines. Globe Telecom created this virtual wallet.

While Gcash is a very convenient form of sending and receiving money, it cannot function as a debit card alone. We need to get an AMEX account. This is short for American Express. This type of card is like a Master Card or a VISA. Globe made it possible to link your Gcash account to an AMEX account. Plus, the card is also virtual. They will give you a card number and a CSV. You can then purchase from any online store which accepts credit cards and debit cards.

How to Convert Gcash to Paypal

This tutorial is going to be very basic. We already discussed what Gcash is, what Paypal is, and what AMEX is. And to give a recap, here's the description of the three.

Gcash - Ito ay isang virtual wallet na gawa ng Globe. Magagamit lamang ito sa Pilipinas at makakabili ka lang kung yung online store ay tumatanggap ng Gcash payment.

Paypal - Ito ay isang virtual wallet na tinatanggap sa buong mundo. Kahit saang online shop, pwede mo ito gamitin. Basta tumatanggap sila ng Paypal payment.

AMEX - Isang uri ng debit card. Ngayon, gumawa ang Globe ng isang virtual na version ng AMEX. Magagamit mo ito para bumili ng mga bagay online, kahit saang parte ng mundo. Basta tumatanggap sila ng AMEX payment.

Now, in order to proceed, we must have an AMEX virtual card ready. You can get one by following the instructions here. The Gcash account should be linked to your AMEX virtual card. And, your AMEX card should be linked to your Paypal account.

The processing of conversion will look like this:

1. Punta ka sa online shop na gusto mo.
2. Pili ka ng items, add mo sa cart. Tapos proceed to checkout.
3. Pagka checkout, piliin mo yung Paypal as payment option.
4. Madalas magreredirect sa Paypal. Take note, DAPAT MAY GREEN BAR NA MAY LOCK yung nakasulat sa address ng Paypal. This is to make sure na legit website yung pinapasok mo. Kapag nakita mo na secured yung site, lagay mo na yung Paypal email at password.
5. Ok lang kahit 0 balance yung Paypal account. Ang importante, may laman yung Gcash account. Yung virtual AMEX naman, naka merge yan sa Gcash kaya kung ano yung balance ng Gcash, yun din sa virtual AMEX mo.
6. Makikita mo yung PAY WITH kung saan nakalagay yung source of fund. In this case, yung AMEX mo.
   
   
7. Pay now. Yung Paypal gagawa ng peso value depende sa exchange rate ng currency. Based sa example sa taas, i co convert ni Paypal yung 1.99 GBP into PHP. Tapos yun ang ibabawas sa Gcash balance mo. Hindi na kailangan na lagyan ang Paypal kung bibili online. Automatic magbabawas yun sa Gcash wallet kung i confirm mo yung Pay Now transaction via Paypal.
